Becky Marrero is Marine Manager of Roanoke Trade’s Miami, FL office and has been with Roanoke Trade since 1998. With more than 22 years experience in the insurance industry, she currently specializes in cargo insurance underwriting, marine technical expertise, marketing, account management, sales and customer service. A licensed insurance broker, Becky earned the professional designations of Certificate Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 2002, Certified Marine Insurance Professional (CMIP) in 2010 and is working towards an Associates in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM). She is an approved Lloyd’s coverholder and presently holds underwriting authority for Munich Re Syndicate, Ltd.

Bilingual, Becky is actively involved in the training and education of Roanoke Trade’s Latin American customers and is proficient in conducting the cargo insurance training seminars in Spanish. Becky is currently an active member in many of the local trade associations including the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (FCBF), as well as the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT).

Her previous experiences include selling and servicing various lines of insurance including professional legal liability, commercial and personal, pleasure and charter vessels.
